Before you install
The questions hosting providers ask us most.
Where does my data live?
On your server, in your own database. We never see your customers or your invoices.
Do you hold customer payments?
No. Customers pay through your payment providers, straight to you.
Does RackMoon provision servers?
Not in the first release. Billing tells your systems when to provision, suspend or terminate, by webhook or as a to-do for your team.
Can I move from my current system?
An importer for other billing systems is planned. Until then, clients and products can be added through the API.
Which languages does the client area speak?
English and Chinese. Each customer picks their own.
How do updates work?
Updates install from the admin. Every release is written up on the changelog.
